OSRAM
SYLVANIA, the North American division of OSRAM GmbH,
is one of the world's three leading lamp manufacturers,
and part of the Siemens family of companies. OSRAM SYLVANIA
manufactures and markets a wide range of lighting products
and other products for consumers, and for corporate
customers in the automotive, computer, and aerospace
markets, as well as many other major worldwide industries.
Our headquarters are located in Danvers, Massachusetts,
just north of Boston.
Our
manufacturing capabilities include more than 20 plants
distributed throughout North America. OSRAM SYLVANIA's
research and development organization includes eight
North American laboratories responsible for research,
development and engineering associated with advanced
lighting products. These include precision materials
and components, lamps, lighting systems, and manufacturing
processes. OSRAM SYLVANIA's equipment development operation
designs and builds electronic control systems used in
the manufacture of lighting and related products.
