controls announced today the expansion of the HBA LX Lighting Control System product line to include
the combination circuit breaker/relay LXBC Breaker Control Panels.
The new LXBC panels are fully integrated and reverse compatible with the LX Lighting Control System.
Product enhancement including remotely controlled Circuit Breaker Relays is an essential part of a complete range
of lighting control panels. The product features Cutler-Hammer GHQR latching remotely operated circuit breakers
for controlling building lighting and Westinghouse Series C molded case circuit breakers for non-controlled loads.
Available with 120/208 or 277/480 volt 3 phase, 4 wire service and up to 42 circuit spaces these panels provide
over current protection and circuit control in a single enclosure. Standard bus sizes include 100 amps or 225 amps
with main lugs only or main circuit breaker options. LXBC panels are provided with bottom feed, CU/AL incoming
feed lugs standard. Panels are rated 14,000 AIC with a series rating of 65,000 AIC. Controlled circuit breaker relays
are available in 20 and 30 amps, single or double pole. Custom configurations, bus size and a wide variety
of enclosures types are available on special order.
The LX system utilizes programmable input devices such as switch stations, photocells and motion sensors
for control of the lighting system. LonWorks® “Open Systems” architecture provides seamless integration
with other building systems. The system provides easy to use, local and remote management capabilities
to the lighting control system through a handheld touch screen Tablet with Graphical User Interface and browser
