Lightolier Controls Expands Sales Force

DALLAS, TX - Lightolier Controls announced today that it has added one new regional sales manager and will add as many as three more in the coming months. The aggressive expansion will allow Lightolier Controls to meet the current demands for its advanced lighting control systems. It also positions the company for future growth, as sales of lighting control products are expected to continue their climb.

"We are currently developing a strategy to re-organize the current Lightolier Controls sales territories and add up to three additional regional sales managers in key markets," said Lightolier Controls Vice President of Sales Bob Schacherl. "We will distribute territorial responsibilities so that we can maximize work loads and sales potential while preserving strong relationships that currently exist. All of this will be done so that we can improve the service we provide our customers and end users."

Jeff O'Brien will be based out of Lightolier Controls' factory in Dallas and will be responsible for the newly created South Central region, which includes Texas and the surrounding states. O'Brien has more than 20 years experience in the home automation industry. Most recently, O'Brien was sales manager for X10Pro, where he managed the U.S. sales of home automation products through wholesale distribution. He will be at Lightolier Controls Booth #336 Nov. 16-18 at the EH Expo trade show in Long Beach, Calif.

"Jeff has demonstrated the ability to increase sales, but even more impressive is his track record of working with clients and providing training in his area, which results in a decreased number of tech support calls," Schacherl said. "This is a great benefit to our direct customers as well as the end users of our products."
