Lutron Electronics Introduces the Nova T*® 277V Wallbox Dimmer

Coopersburg, PA - Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. has introduced a series of 277V dimmers for its Nova T* specification series product line. Products include: a 600VA magnetic low-voltage slide-to-off dimmer; a 1,000VA magnetic low-voltage slide-to-off dimmer; an 8A fluorescent slide-to-off dimmer; and a 6A fluorescent 3-way preset dimmer.

Customers now have the ability to control Lutron Hi-lume® 1%, Compact SE™, and Eco-10™ fluorescent ballasts, as well as magnetic transformer-supplied light sources, such as magnetic low-voltage, magnetic line voltage, incandescent, and neon/cold cathode lamps.

The Nova T* 277V products are available in the following architectural matte finishes: white, ivory, almond, light almond, gray, brown, black, beige, and taupe, as well as three metal finishes: bright brass, bright chrome and satin brass. Coordinating accessories also available from Lutron include: multi-gang wallplates, receptacles, fan-speed controls, 15A and 20A GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interruptor) receptacles, phone jacks, cable jacks, and 6-port frames.

In addition to Hi-lume, Compact SE, and Eco-10, Lutron also offers control for other manufacturers’ 277V ballasts. Contact Lutron customer service or technical support for more details.

The Nova T* specification series of controls features thin-profile slide dimmers with standard Nova® dimmer durability. The thin wallplate design enhances the appearance of the dimmer because there is no visible metal heatsink. Since Nova T* dimmers also feature automatic multigang alignment, installation is quick and easy. Additional features for Nova and Nova T* controls include heavy-duty components for surge protection and long product life, power-failure memory, and voltage compensation.
