Gary Meshberg Elected President of the Lighting Controls Association
The Lighting Controls Association (LCA), administered by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), has announced the election of a new executive team headed by Gary Meshberg as president.
Meshberg has been working in the lighting and lighting control industry for more than 25 years. Currently, he serves as director of business development for Lightolier Controls (Philips Lighting Controls) and Entertainment Technology. He is a founder and past chair of the Home Lighting Control Alliance, member and education chair for the IESNA North Texas section, and a frequent speaker at industry events such as IES, CEDIA, EX Expo and Lightfair International.
“This is a real honor to be part of the LCA executive team," says Meshberg. “The LCA was formed to provide an education vehicle for those that wish to learn more about lighting controls and technology trends in these markets.”
Other newly elected officers include A. J. Glaser, president of HUNT Dimming, who was elected to the post of vice president, and Scott Jordan, marketing manager for Square D Lighting Control, a division of Schneider Electric, who was elected to the posts of secretary and treasurer. Ron Runkles of NEMA is the association’s executive director and Craig DiLouie, principal of ZING Communications, Inc., serves as education director.
