Responsible for Lighting Control and Systems business development

Work with other business functions to develop new business strategies in the Lighting Controls and Systems business. Develop a product and market entry business plan. Implement the business plan and deliver that stated strategic and financial requirements.

Manage the Lighting Control and systems products through product planning, new product introductions, pricing strategies, forecasting and competitive analysis. Oversee such marketing programs as advertising, packaging, trade shows, customer visits, and sales tool creation.

Involved in day to day activities as the product management lead for the assigned products working directly w/ R&D, Logistics and other Osram/Osram Sylvania groups as needed to deliver the product.

Provide support for the sales channel:

-Inform and train the sales force through various points of communications
-Sales training
-Establish relationships and credibility with key customers

Problem Solving

Must be comfortable in the leadership position in an environment of constant change deriving satisfaction from the challenge of integrating technology into commercially-viable, differentiated, customer-focused products. Must develop efficient and effective timely solutions to diverse and complex business problems.

Minimum Requirements

-BA/BS degree in engineering, business, marketing or related focus
-6+ years experience in Lighting or Lighting Controls Industry
-Solid management capacity and leadership style
-Strong analytical skills
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Proficient in use of major PC office applications
-Must be able to work in a fast moving environment
